Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Present ("we", "us") covering your use of the Present app and website. By creating an account or using Present, you agree to them.
Using Present
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your region) to use Present.
- You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure.
- Use Present only as intended — don't abuse, reverse-engineer, disrupt the service, or use it to harass others in circles.
Circles
Circles share your name, photo, session activity, and streaks with their members. Be respectful to the people in your circles. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions
- Present offers a free tier and a paid Plus subscription, billed through Apple's App Store.
- New subscribers get a 3-day free trial; you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
- Prices and features may change; we'll give you notice before changes affect an active subscription.
Your content
Journal entries and anything else you create in Present belong to you. You give us only the limited license needed to store, sync, and display your content back to you (and, for session activity, to your circles).
Our content
The Present app, brand, and design are ours. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond normal use of the app.
Ending things
You can stop using Present or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
Disclaimers
Present is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Present after that means you accept the updated terms.
